"Saccades" is a series of diptychs, triptychs and
polyptychs exploring the relationship of the human body to objects and the
environment. The sensuality of the flesh infuses life into its mundane
surroundings. The nuances of human emotion and expression manifest latent
facets of meaning in the interactions between animate and inanimate. The
asexual is impregnated with sexual identity and the binaries of sexuality
explode into a cornucopia of new potentials. The resulting pluralities are
captured in the multiple frames recording each such interaction.
