This is a photo of Kevin Woodson in 1/1994 with his art in the background. If you don't know Kevin and his artwork, you should. Kevin's website is http://www.kevinwoodson.com/.
Soon after I met Kevin, I wrote an article about him for the SF Bay Times. Now why do the words "art school dog boy cotillion" stick in my mind? ;) And why would I remember that 18 years later. Scary. I liked Kevin from the first moment I met him. He was ... er..... uh.... exuberant. <eg> And I respect any artist who is so driven by his art that it just comes pouring out of him. It was obvious from the start that Kevin was an artist in the truest sense of the word. Unlike most people who do art as a hobby, for Kevin art will always remain a central driving force in his life.
It's been a real treat to have him share his work on FB, Whether we are talking about men's bodies, birds or flowers, Kevin's work is always very personal and emotional. He wants to share his joy in beauty; his joy in life and art. You never know what he is going to tackle next. You just know that when he does, that you'll enjoy the journey
